Hello and welcome back again to What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! Every week we take a sneak peak of other crafters desks from around the world, all courtesy of our Julia. Click here for more information:)
In the last week, I have...
...progressed with the purple work on Sydney. It is filled in and encases the N, E and second Y. I'm now working in the purple within the D.
Felicity the Lobster has had a deep blue added, some black work completed, and she now has her eyes!
Short and sweet this week as there really hasn't been much time away from work. I apologise to those I didn't visit last week, I think I got around half of you so will endeavour to do better this week (it helps that i'm at work today).
If you've got the time, please try to see some of the other crafty desks around the world. See you all next week!
Great stitching! I didn't get round all the desks either last time. Helen #1
ReplyDeleteI'm often late returning visits. It depends what the week throws at me! I love that lobster.

Gorgeous work! Love Felicity but for some reason I keep seeing her as Lucy Lobster in myk head. Glad she can see where she is going now.

Morning Lucy. Great work coming on there. I like Felicity... she looks fun.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.

Neet stole my line about Felicity lobster! You definitely don't do run of the mill cross stitch, that's for sure!! Hope work isn't too mad (I miss C&H....)

Wonderful needle work and can't wait to see how Felicity progresses.

Don't worry about visiting everyone. It is not possible! I try and visit people about once a fortnight! Lots of patience for this stitchery work. I guess you could say that about anything, but I have got away from stitching so far this year.Maybe later in the year?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't panic about not visiting everyone. I try to get round to 20 or so if I have time, otherwise I have a quick look without leaving a comment sometimes. Happy WOYWW Sarah #23

You have been busy with your stitching. A lobster called Felicity - that made me smile. I'm sure she is happy to have eyes to see you with :) Have a good week. Elizabeth x #30
ReplyDeleteHi Lucy,
ReplyDeleteYou've been busy! Needlepoint (is that the right term?) takes a lot of time and I can definitely see progress on the lobster. So glad she can watch what you are doing now! tee hee

You are really zooming along with your needlepoint! When I first looked at Felicity the lobster, I thought she was a lion! LOL! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #37
ReplyDeleteExcellent progress on the stitching isn't it a shame we have to work instead of craft!! Tracy #15
ReplyDeleteI've had another busy day and now playing catch up with a bit of blogging. Thanks for visiting me earlier. Well done with the stitching....it's really lovely.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week.

ReplyDeleteWell no one can accuse you of lack of diversity in your stitching subjects! I imagine it's very satisfying to see progress on two at a time, love the random lobster colours!
ReplyDeleteHi Lucy. Work has a habit of getting in the way when you're crafting but you just hang on in there! Thanks for the visit to mine and have a great woyww, Angela x 18
ReplyDeleteSuper neat tapestry work, thanks for the visit yesterday BJ#10
ReplyDeleteLove the lobster is it Lily or Lawrence? Very neat work on the Sydney I enlarged the photo to have a closer look, very impressed.
ReplyDeleteGreat tapestry work - I find it's always necessary to have a number of things 'on the go' at once so that you don't get tired of the same thing all the time - although I tend to a have a mixture of cross stitch, knitting or crochet and making cards all at once!! Thanks for visiting,
ReplyDeleteBernice
HI Lucy, so sorry for the ridiculously late visit, I'm only just catching up from last week! I think I said before how much I love those tapestries - I haven't seen anything like that here, they're going to be amazing when they're done. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend :o) Annie C #16
